A great resource of information on senior living comes from the Bear River Association of Governments [3], which has an Agency on Aging designated by the State of Utah to help address the needs and concerns of older Americans in Box Elder, Cache, and Rich Counties.

For those less independant or that need a watchful eye, a local caregiver [4] provides a wide variety of services for elderly care. They have:

  • A rehabilitation center that features 7 day per week in-house physical therapy, occupational therapy, and restorative nursing services.
  • An Adult Day Care facility center that is recognized nationally and internationally for programs which promote self-esteem, therapeutic and fun activities and avoidance of premature nursing home placement.
  • An Assisted Living Arrangement - a nicer alternative to a full- nursing home.
